Seriously. Not gonna lie. Guilty pleasure. Want it so much right now.
056; Day 6: A picture of something that makes you happy
045; Day 5: A song to match your mood
OneRepublic – Say
Do you know where your heart is / Do you think you can find it / Did you trade it for something, somewhere / Better just to have it
Do you know where your love is / Do you think that you lost it / You felt it so strong but nothing’s / Turned out how you want it
Well bless my soul / You’re a lonely soul / Cause you won’t let go / Of anything you hold
Well all I need is the air I breathe / And a place to rest my head
Do you know what your fate is / And are you trying to shake it / You’re doing your best and / Your best look / You’re praying that youll make it
Well bless my soul / You’re a lonely soul / Cause you wont let go / Of anything you hold
Well all I need is the air I breathe / And a place to rest my head / Said all I need is the air I breathe / And a place to rest my head
Do you think you can find it / Better than you have it
Do you think you can find it / Better than you have it
Better than you have it
Said all I need is the air I breathe / And a place to rest my head / Said all I need is the air I breathe / And a place to rest my head
Do you know where the end is / Do you think you can see it
Until you get there / Go on / Go ahead and scream it
Just say
This song reminds of me all the wants and all the needs that I don’t want to need at all. My interpretation of this song is about reminding yourself or someone, that all that you’ll ever need in life is the air that you breathe and a shelter, and of course, food. All the things other than these factors are not necessary, but somehow you seem to want it. And do you really think that “it” will be better than what you have or will it make your life any better, will it be worth trading your heart for? So let go, and you’ll be happier, less lonely a soul.
Well, I wish I was more content with my life too.
013; Day 2: Meaning behind your blog name
Hello hello! It looks like I’ve been away for a few days. Honestly I don’t remember what I’ve been doing either! xD
Well, this is Day 2 of my 30 Day Blog Challenge. Meaning behind my blog name. You might’ve noticed it is a really long blog address. There’s a reason. The reason that I chose such a long blog name is because I’m still not used to putting myself out there. Yet. All my past blogs have been locked for friends only, and I mean internet friends who share the same interests as I, not friends in real life, ’cause that would be awkward and would prevent me from saying things I want to say. So the long blog name is one of the tactics I use to prevent people from having its name memorized. Hahahahahaha. I don’t know why I’m scared of the idea, but I just am, and this is how I deal with it. :D
Kaleidoscopicsilhouettes consists of two of my favorite words. I love the word ‘silhouette’ specifically. No other reason than that it just sounds beautiful to me. And the same reason goes with ‘kaleidoscope’ as well. And there’s a contrast when these two words are put together that fascinates me. Those who know me know that I’m a freak when it comes to the beauty of words. You know, when you think of ‘silhouette’, you see a completely black figure, just that. Be it people, animals, it’s just a black figure. ‘Kaleidoscopic’ is, in this case, a synonym of multicolored and colorful. It also means rapidly changing. But as I said, in this case I thought of it as multicolored, whereas I thought of silhouette as completely black figures. So there you go. Multicolored black figures, what the hell does that even mean? I don’t know. I just love what I see when I read this blog name. Nothing more.
:)
